Antonio Dill of South Shore Road, Warwick, pleaded guilty to stealing Rebecca Young's handbag. He told the court "the temptation was too great''.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis was told that Young discovered her bag was missing when she returned from the dance floor around 2 a.m. Police were called and found the accused with another man walking along Chancery Lane.

When approached, the other man threw the bag away and ran towards Reid Street.

Dill was found holding $24 that had been in the purse. He later confessed to Police and apologised for the the theft.
