Tri-umphant! Jonathon Herring and Karen Smith both set a hot pace on the way to victories in Sunday's AON national sprint triathlon championships at Clearwater Beach. Herring won the men's race in one hour, five minutes and 52 seconds, two minutes clear of his closest rival, and Smith led home the women in 1:10.15, more than seven minutes ahead of the next finisher.
