Police and Government officials will supervise a demolition job on one house on Harlem Heights in Hamilton Parish at 10 a.m.

It is believed the house has been used by drug dealers and crack addicts for several years.

Government announced recently they would not tolerate the use of abandoned buildings for illegal purposes.

Politicians are also trying to find new, cheap homes to cure Bermuda's housing crisis.

BELCO SEEKS PLANNING APPROVAL PLN Belco seeks planning approval The Bermuda Electric Light Company has applied for planning permission to add another floor to their office building.

The additional fourth floor, which has been designed by the Marshall Bernardo Partnership architectural firm, would provide more office and meeting space.

Belco spokeswoman Robin McPhee said the extension would take about a year to build and would cover 6,000 square feet.
