a man who had sued him for nonpayment of a personal debt.

The judgement by Puisne Judge Mr. Justice Ward also awarded Mr. Gregory Wales interest on the nearly two-year-old debt.

Mr. Wales, who is employed at the Bermuda Electric Light Company as a meter reader, filed the writ in Supreme Court in May.

The debt represented the balance of a loan between Mr. Hall and Mr. Wales in September, 1990. Mr. Ward's decision, which was made on July 2, carried the order that it not be enforced for six weeks.
