his left leg after his motorcycle struck a private car around 10 a.m. on Sunday.

The cut required 34 stitches to close.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident which occurred while the motorcyclist was riding west along Marsh Folly Road and the car was leaving the pulverisation plant.

The driver, a 65-year-old Devonshire man, was unhurt, but both the car and cycle were extensively damaged.
