Pass rates higher than in UK

Institute of Bankers banking certificate this spring achieved higher marks than their counterparts in the United Kingdom.
The local students achieved pass rates of 83 and 89 percent, as opposed to UK cadidates who had pass rates of 65 and 61 percent.
The Bermuda College prepares students for the banking certificate, through the Centre for Adult and Continuing Education. The programme is designed to meet the needs of senior supervisory staff, as well as those aspiring to careers in banking or related fields.
The education sub-committee of the local chapter of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, The Bermuda Local Centre, works closely with Bermuda College on its education programme.
