Re: KBB CLEAN UP 24TH MAY - BERMUDA DAY PA RADE This is to formally thank and congratulate Keep Bermuda Beautiful for conceptualising and organising the very successful clean-up initiative during the 24th May, Bermuda Day parade.

I am pleased to report that the Corporation's sanitation department found clean-up along the parade route more manageable due to the distribution of garbage bags by volunteers coordinated by yourselves. The availability of bags greatly reduced loose litter in general along the streets and also introduced mass recycling for the first time at a major public event.

On behalf of the Mayor, members and staff at the Corporation of Hamilton I would like to thank you for helping to keep Hamilton beautiful. We hope that this initiative will continue and will look forward to working with you again in the future.
