Aquarium, Museum and Zoo.

The Discovery Room has been turned into a recreation of the tropical rainforest complete with waterfall and sound effects.

The theme complements one of the topics of the Jason Project which, this year, is partially based in the rainforests of Belize.

A spokesperson at BAMZ said: "Young and old have been delighted in the atmosphere and activities.

"Teachers who have been studying rainforests with their students are encouraged to call the Education Co-ordinator at the Aquarium to make a booking to bring their class.

"Tours of the rainforest animals at BAMZ will be given to school groups in conjunction with a visit to the Discovery Room.'' The Discovery Room is a parent/child active learning centre. It is open during regular opening hours and manned by volunteers on Saturdays and Sundays between 2 p.

m. and 4 p.m. with a more extensive variety of activities.

Themes are usually changed every six weeks and are developed by a talented and dedicated team of education volunteers.

Anyone interested in working with the team can contact the education co-ordinator Ms Mary Strong. No prior experience is needed just an inquiring mind, an interest in children and some free time.

Due to popular demand the rainforest theme will be extended until Thursday, April 21.
