The 15-year-old Pembroke youth was riding the bike along Paynter's Road in Smith's Parish at around 9 p.m. when he apparently lost control and collided with a wall, Police said.

The youth and the cycle fell into the path of another auxiliary cycle travelling east along Harrington Sound Road.

The 26-year-old rider of the second cycle sustained cuts.

The 15-year-old was listed in stable condition in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital's intensive care unit esterday.
