Tucker, who runs the Odyssey nightclub on Front Street, was arrested in a hotel on the Island on June 30 along with six other men following a Police swoop. Several kilos of cocaine were allegedly discovered in their possession.

Tucker has been in custody on the Island ever since his arrest.

Yesterday, the Island's chief prosecutor Mr. William Wijga explained that Tucker, who already has a conviction for possession of cannabis, faces two charges of importing and possessing cocaine.

"I cannot say how much cocaine was seized but we are talking in terms of kilos,'' Mr. Wijga said.

The court appearance will take place on September 16 and is expected to last all day.

Yesterday Tucker's father, Clarence, refused to comment on his son's case.
