Bank of Butterfield shares have hit a new all-time high of $20.50 after going up in price by 75 cents yesterday.

On a relatively quiet day of trading, Bank of Bermuda lost 50 cents to close at $39.50 and Island Press, owners of the Bermuda Sun dropped 75 cents to $3.00.
The index closed up slightly at 1,973.30, rising 0.77 points or 0.04 percent on a volume of 9,936 shares worth $283,228.50.
