Industrial Union conference.

Mr. Benjamin Hooks, the former executive director of the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP), will be the keynote speaker for the three-day delegates conference which begins tomorrow.

Also attending is Mr. George Martens of the Belgium-based International Conference of Free Trade Unions.

Pastor Hooks, who retired as executive director of NAACP last April after serving the organisation for 16 years, will speak tomorrow morning during opening ceremonies at the Liberty Theatre.

He will be followed by Mr. Martens and BIU president Mr. Ottiwell Simmons MP.

Tomorrow afternoon will see a panel discussion between Mr. Hooks, Mr. Martens, Opposition leader Mr. Frederick Wade and Mr. Calvin Smith, BIU Credit Union manager.

They will discuss Workers Rights, Workers Enterprises, Trade Unions and the Law.
