with his throat slashed.

Brian Adrian Simmons 29, became the fifth person murdered this year, although Police are refusing to divulge any details about the investigation.

Simmons' body was discovered about 10.40 a.m. on Sunday inside the main gates to the dump, Police confirmed.

Sources said his throat was slit and that he was found near a known drugs area.

Police detectives were not prepared to comment on his injuries or whether or not the death was drug-related, although foul play has not been ruled out.

Inspector LeGay Farley is heading up the investigation. An incident room has been set up at Prospect.

On Sunday morning, Inspector Vic Richmond and a team of detectives were seen guarding the Marsh Folly Road entrance to the dump while conducting inquiries.
