A 36-year-old Southampton was arrested by Task Force officers near Blackwatch Pass, Pembroke on Saturday evening.

He had been searched and found to be in possession of a white powder substance believed to be cocaine.

The Task Force also arrested a 23-year-old Devonshire man near Court Street in Hamilton on Saturday after he was found to be in possession of a rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine.

A man was taken to King Edward Memorial Hospital with leg injuries after he was cut by the propeller of a Boston Whaler rental in Castle Harbour.

Harbour Radio said the man was picked up at the Castle Harbour Hotel dock around 2.40 p.m.

And the Bermuda Fire Service was called out to extinguish a small brush fire at the Belmont Golf Course early yesterday afternoon.

One truck with five firefighters doused a 20 by 20 foot brush fire shortly after 1.30 p.m.
