Dwayne Webb, 24, pleaded guilty to entering the house even though his father sent him a registered letter telling him to keep away.

Prosecutor Insp. Peter Duffy told the court the Police were contacted on November 5 by the Webb's father with a complaint of trespassing. Officers arrived soon after to find Webb hanging clothes on a line outside the house and arrested him.

Webb, who has been bound over to keep the peace on three previous matters, claimed he had just returned from the United States and had nowhere to stay.

He admitted receiving the letter but did not think his father was serious.

"Surely you know you are not welcome there,'' Ms Simmons replied.

She told Webb it was his last chance before handing out a three-month prison sentence, suspended for one year.
