In fact, 80 students, far more than for any other presentation, have signed up for today's discussions at New Hall on careers in international business.

Members of the local marketing committee of the Bermuda International Business Association (BIBA) will be outlining career opportunities in the international business industry at a careers day being held today by the Bermuda College.

Chairman of BIBA's local marketing committee Mr. Tom Davis said that lawyers Mr. Chesley White and Mr. Anthony Whaley, banker Ms Margaret Moran and insurance executive Ms Kim Wilkerson would be explaining to students why they chose their careers and how they climbed to their current positions.

Mr. Davis said, " The Bermudians who will address the students have had varied experiences in pursuing their chosen areas of expertise. We thought it would be valuable for students interested in the international business industry to hear first-hand what types of colleges and universities they attended, what courses they studied and what it's like to be working in the industry.'' Mr. Davis added that BIBA hopes through appearances at events like the Bermuda College careers day to raise awareness of the international business industry and to provide information to those young people interested in careers in the industry.
