A 33-year-old Connecticut woman is in the intensive care unit at King Edward VII Hospital with head injuries after she lost control of her livery cycle and left South Shore Road near the junction of Middle Road in Southampton yesterday, Police said.

The woman was a passenger from the Chandris Celebrity Cruises liner Horizon , which is docked in Hamilton.

The Bermuda Fire Service assisted in the single-vehicle crash shortly before 3.30 p.m.
