admitted stealing $47 from the Kentucky Fried Chicken store on Burnaby Hill.

Patti Jean Robinson, of Random Lane, was a cashier at the store when the offence occurred on October 25.

Sgt. Rex Osborne, prosecuting, said Robinson reported for work at 11 a.m. On seven occasions she took exact payment for food from customers but did not enter the sale on the cash register.

At the end of the day she mixed the money with the day's takings. There was a surplus of $47 which she then placed in her sock and attempted to leave the store.

However, Robinson was being watched throughout the day and was stopped from leaving.
