Bermuda come up Rose's
inaugural international graded squash tournament at the Devonshire courts on Sunday evening.
Rose took a 2-0 lead over visitor Richard Sheppard but his Philadelphia opponent came back to square the match 2-2 before Rose won the decider 9-4.
In the ladies A final, top local Denise Kyme proved no match for England's Victoria Deans who reeled off a straight games 3-0 victory.
Both had earlier lost 3-2 against male opponents -- Deans going down 3-2 to Tony Prentice in the Men's B plate final and Kyme losing to Sandy Worthington in the Men's C plate final.
In the men's B final Norman Furtado pulled out all the stops to come back from 0-2 down to defeat John Stout 3-2.
