the fourth time in 14 months was yesterday fined $600 in Magistrates' Court.
Colin Wendall Williams, of Palm Valley, admitted the offence which occurred on February 21.
Insp. Peter Duffy, prosecuting, said Police were on patrol on South Shore Road in Southampton when they saw Williams driving a car. They stopped him and he admitted being a disqualified driver.
Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis told Williams that it looked as though he had little regard for orders which required that he stay off the road.
"No, your honour,'' Williams replied. "What it looks like is not what it is.
It was an emergency.'' Mr. Francis said disqualifications did not seem to work and fined him.
