Morris had charges against him dropped when Police prosecutor Insp. Peter Duffy offered no evidence on the charge that Morris allowed Anthony Brannon to commit a noise offence in the Great Sound.

Brannon, 42, of Mayflower Drive, Devonshire, is charged with operating an amplifier on June 6, 1993 between 6 a.m. and midnight in such a manner as to be heard over 100 feet away.

Complainants in the case are top chartered accountant and former United Bermuda Party parliamentary candidate David Lines, and his son Grenville.

An August 1 trial date has been set. Brannon has pleaded not guilty.
