The US Coast Guard reported the missing man fell from the boat returning from Bermuda, after competing in the Newport-Bermuda Race last week.

A spokesman could not release the name of the boat until the next of kin was contacted last night.

A 48-foot yacht ran aground in Paradise Lake in Hamilton Harbour. Marine Police towed the 48 foot Sonia's Peace from its grounding. No-one was hurt.
