A John S. Darrell spokeswoman said the vessel marked its final trip to the Island with 1,121 passengers on board.

The ship arrived from New York on Tuesday and is scheduled to depart at 3.30 p.m. today for its repositioning voyage to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

RCCL sold the 1,400 passenger vessel to Airtours PLC for about $95 million in April.

Elsewhere, a Meyer Agencies' spokesman reported that the Norwegian Crown was due to return to the Island tomorrow and berth in St. George's.

The vessel, which has not serviced the Island since September, will shift to Hamilton on Saturday and leave on Sunday.

This week also saw the Veendam's second voyage of the season to the Island.

The Holland America liner brought 877 passengers to Hamilton on Monday morning from Boston and left Tuesday afternoon for New York.

Meanwhile the cement ship Contrader departed from Dockyard yesterday morning.

The ship arrived on Monday at 11 a.m.

And the Malmnes was due to arrive at Penno's Wharf in St. George's tomorrow With a cargo of gravel for the Island. She returns to Nova Scotia on the following day.

At the container docks, the Oleander arrived on Sunday with 128 dry containers, 43 refrigerated containers, one horse box, five road trailers of structural steel, a bobcat and eight cars.

It left Bermuda for its return voyage to Port Elizabeth, New Jersey on Tuesday.

And the Bermuda Islander arrived from New Jersey on Monday with 119 containers -- including 23 refers.
