Sean Reginald Tucker, of Broken Hill Lane, Smith's, appeared before Magistrate Arthur Hodgson yesterday morning charged with assaulting Zambian running star Charles Mulinga on January 19.

The attack happened shortly after Mr. Mulinga had won a 10km race on the Island.

Prosecutor Charmaine Smith asked for an adjournment, explaining that Mr.

Mulinga had been unable to return to the Island to stand as a witness.

The trial was adjourned until November 2. Tucker was granted bail.
