Dwayne Doars, 26, was due to appear before the Court of Appeal yesterday.

Doars, of North Shore Road, Pembroke, was jailed in March after being convicted of attempting to rob Devonshire Liquor Store on August 20, 1997.

Doars' sentence included time for a range of cheque offences, for which he was sentenced in Supreme Court after being convicted in Magistrates' Court.
