The howling, whispering, wailing Old Christmas Tree!
The woman brought it home and started to decorate it. The tree did not like this so it thought it would scare her into putting him back. So that night when the woman went to sleep the tree started to wail and howl. The woman was frightened, but she still went to sleep. The next night the same thing happened. But she managed to get to sleep anyway. On it went until the woman could not stand it any longer. So she went to bed that night, but she did not go to sleep. She knew that the noise was coming from the tree room, so she crept around the corner to have a peak. Then she saw that the tree was making the noise! She asked him, "Why,'' and he said, "Because I do not like the decorations on me!'' The lady asked why and he told her it was because he only liked blue things on him. So the lady decorated him in blue and they lived happily ever after.
