The 1994 directory is the second edition compiled and published by the Centre on Philanthropy.

Of 220 registered charities in Bermuda, 123 submitted a profile which is included in the directory, the centre said in a news release.

The directory includes a list of all registered charities and their registration numbers, as well as a separate list which groups charities according to their field of work.

An index provides a cross-reference for charities that are known by more than one name.

Fifteen volunteers worked on the directory, said executive director Ms Nancy Smythe. The Bank of Bermuda, the Bank of Butterfield, and The Royal Gazette provided services.

Copies of the directory can be picked up at the centre's office on the second floor of Sterling House on Wesley Street.
