One of two men accused of the crime appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday to be charged.

Anthony Conroy Francis, 26, of Devonshire, was charged with robbing the bank of a sum of money in excess of $20,000 while being concerned together with another person not before the court.

He was not required to plead to the charge and faces trial in Supreme Court.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis remanded Francis in custody until today when his case will be mentioned.

Crown counsel Mr. Brian Calhoun said the other suspect in the daylight robbery of the bank will also appear in court today.
