Making up the rest of the vessel's load were 127 dry containers, 26 refrigerated containers and six cars, reported a spokeswoman for the ship's local agent Container Ship Management.

The Oleander left Bermuda to return to Port Elizabeth, New Jersey on Tuesday.

While the vessel was in port, it was joined by the Somers Isles , which arrived on Sunday from Fernandina Beach, Florida, and the Bermuda Islander , which arrived at noon on Monday from Salem, New Jersey.

A spokesman for the duo's local agent, Meyer Agencies, told The Royal Gazette that the Somers Isles offloaded 116 containers, including 11 which were refrigerated, before departing on Monday.

Meanwhile the Bermuda Islander left early on Tuesday morning after off loading its cargo of 81 dry and 12 refrigerated containers.

Looking ahead, John S. Darrell reported that the supertanker MT Frontlord is due to arrive at Five Fathom Hole today in order to take on crew members.

The vessel is scheduled to leave tomorrow morning and resume her voyage from the US to Amsterdam in Holland.

Elsewhere, the tug Stevns Bugser , which arrived on March 12 in need of repairs and left the Island on March 15 to continue its voyage from Jacksonville, Florida to Europe.

And a US Navy submarine slipped into local waters early on Tuesday morning in order to drop off a crew member who promptly flew back to the US. Further details were unavailable about the vessel.
