FAC specialises in e-commerce solutions for Internet salesmen, and it joined forces with Visa International earlier this year to promote its secure offshore e-commerce throughout the Latin American and Caribbean region.

The joint promotion will proceed on December 17, with Visa as the preferred mode of payment at Review Worldwide's online retail site (www.reviewstore.com) which muscles in on the lucrative domain of Amazon.com and CDNow.com. Visa holders will receive special discounts when they shop for movies and music via the Internet: $1 off any CD and/or movie through December and January.

Bermudians can use EasyLink, IslandCard or Visa for discounted purchases.

"The Reviewstore.com promotion is one of many that FAC will be launching over the next several months, as a result of our marketing partnership with Visa International,'' senior vice president of FAC Andrea Wilson said.

First Atlantic called it a significant step for e-commerce in the island. The website is owned and operated by Review Worldwide Ltd. of Bermuda, which has operated since August, 1998.
