Michaela's will travel as a leader
Conference (GLYC) that will take place on July 1 to July 12 in Washington DC and New York City. Organisers of the programme said that Michaela has shown both leadership and scholastic merit and will be among 350 young scholars who have also been chosen to go to the conference.
The GYLC is a chance for Michaela to develop her leadership skills and to interact with leaders and news makers who influence the areas of politics, finance, culture, and diplomacy.
Michael Lasday, executive director of sponsors the Congressional Youth leadership Council said: "The Global Young Leaders Conference challenges students to cross cultural barriers using team work in order to address many conflicts facing the world today. They develop resolutions for international disputes and return home with an increased ability to face the challenges of the future responsibility.''
