The applicant and all five objectors were heard from yesterday, a DAB spokesman told The Royal Gazette .

Time for rebuttal would be given when the DAB reconvened at 4.30 p.m. on Friday, he said. The DAB is then expected to reserve its decision.

Developers of the East Broadway ocean exploration institute include accountant Mr. David Lines and Finance Minister the Hon. David Saul.

Opponents include the National Trust and Crow's Nest apartment residents.

In response to objections, the developers have revised their plans so they do not encroach on Pembroke Hall property.

But developers still plan to infringe on about 3,000 to 4,000 square feet of foreshore in front of the neighbouring Butterfield property.

Concerns also remain about the building's proposed height and size.

The hearing adjourned early yesterday because of the Royal Visit.
