Mott's Sportsmen's League leaders Sparks top the teams honours list as they beat third-placed Buy and Sell 23-4 in recent action.
Sparks claimed the top team series and game of 2,770 and 1,022 as David Simons had the third high series and game of 626 and 233. Buy and Sell, despite their second high series 2,680 and game 961 and Jim Godwin's top 638 series and top game of 244, finished a well-beaten team.
Second-placed Pembroke Juniors beat Warwick Reds 141 -121 to stay in contention as Gerald Brangman led them with the second high game 243 and second high series 627. Juniors also had the third high team series of 2,642 while Leon Smith of Warwick Reds had a 224 game in a losing cause.
Warwick Whites hammered Young Blood 22-5 while Social Club beat Mini Forwarders 16-11 in the other match. Dudley Browne of Mini Forwarders had a 612 series while the team claimed the third high game of 907.
Saturday's schedule: Social Club v Buy and Sell; Pembroke Juniors v Young Blood; Sparks v Mini Forwarders; Warwick Whites v Warwick Reds.
E&C Well Drilling, behind the bowling of Carl Reid and June Simons, claimed top team honours on their way to a 4-0 win over Untouchables in the Mixed Majors League.
E&C had the top team series of 2,197 and top game 779 after Reid led the way with the men's top series of 588 and 222 top game. June Simons supported with the women's second high series of 560.
Millie Waldron of Untouchables had the top women's series of 567 and third high game of 222.
Troublemakers also won 4-0, over Dolphins, after claiming the third high game of 732 and tying with Mix Ups for second high series honours with their 2,093.
Neville Cann of Troublemakers had the second high men's game of 212 as Helena Rawlins had a 221 game for the women.
Anthony Smith led Mix Ups to their 4-0 win over D&D Rollers as he had the men's second high series of 550 and third high game of 204. Juliette Smith chipped in with a 233 game, which tied with Maryann Wilson of B's & G's who beat Last Minutes 3-1.
B's & G's had the second high team game of 733 while Reggie Saunders rolled the men's third high series of 543. Lee Ann Bean of Last Minutes rolled a 550 third high women's series.
In the other match Strikers beat Dynamic Four 3-1.
