Kutii L. Trott, of Kent Street, pleaded guilty to the charge.

Prosecutor Insp. Peter Duffy said that between October 16 and October 25 Trott stole two gold chains and a pendant. "He went into the East Lane home in St.

George's to visit his friend whose mother was abroad,'' Insp. Duffy said. "He entered the mother's bedroom and stole the jewellery which was unknown to the woman's son.'' Insp. Duffy added that as a result of information received Police went to the home of Trott and took him to the St. George's Police Station.

Trott admitted to stealing the jewellery and told officers he gave one chain to his girlfriend and the other chain and pendant to a friend.

Insp. Duffy added that in exchange for giving his friend the jewellery, Trott received six bags of marijuana. His friend sold the jewellery for $150.
