In the first incident a female visitor received a gash to her head and a dislocated shoulder after being knocked down by a motorcyclist.

The accident happened on a bend on Mullet Bay Road near Reid's restaurant.

The motorcyclist was travelling in a westerly direction when he turned the corner and crashed into the woman, who was crossing the road with her male companion.

The cyclist and male pedestrian escaped uninjured.

In the second incident, a car being driven by a 78-year-old St. George's man was in collision with a cyclist on Rose Hill, St. George's.

The accident happened after the car had turned into the road from York Street.

A 41-year-old female passenger in the car dislocated her hip in the smash while the cyclist fractured his ankle. The car driver was not injured in the incident.
