The Development Applications Board rejected an application by Shervin Hendrickson to demolish the Pembroke Mini Mall at 154 North Shore Road, Pembroke, and build a carpet sales outlet and showroom.

The board said the application was refused because insufficient information had been provided.

The building is used as a tyre repair shop. The new building would be 1,104 square feet -- almost twice the size of the current one.
