Pettit Memorial Essay Contest.

The competition involves writing an essay of 500 words or less on the title: "Why am I Thankful?'' The winner will be asked to read their essay during the Thanksgiving Day Service. It will also be printed in The Royal Gazette on November 26.

Top prize earns $3,000 and there are four extra prizes of $500. The deadline is November 9 and entries can be mailed or delivered to the American Consulate, Crown Hill, 16 Middle Road, Devonshire DV03.
