Micha Hollis, 21, of Homestead Lane, Southampton, had originally denied the charges. His trial was scheduled to begin in Magistrates' Court on Thursday when Hollis changed his plea.

The court heard that Hollis was arrested on June 6 in Warwick for five counts of supplying a total of 1.13 grams of crack and supplying 1.69 grams of cannabis.

Magistrate Edward King sentenced Hollis to three years in prison for the crack offence and one month for the cannabis.

The sentences are to run concurrently, with time spent in custody to be taken into consideration.
