Trojans, Colts in top Tango
when second-placed Devonshire Colts host leaders Somerset at Frog Lane field in tomorrow's top match.
And with fourth and fifth-placed PHC taking on Dandy Town at St. John's field it means that four of the five title contenders all have tough matches.
Boulevard, third, have the `easier' of the matches when they take on St.
George's, whose own habit of beating the top teams means that they cannot be taken lightly.
Colts lost the top spot last weekend to the Trojans and are in a good position to regain that spot. They have their fate in their own hands, but they certainly cannot afford to lose again, not with just one point separating them from fifth-placed Dandy Town.
Town and Boulevard are two of the most in-form teams at present and as a result should be favoured in their matches with PHC and St. George's respectively.
Boulevard last lost in the league back on November 29, having climbed to third in the standings since then. They are just one point behind leaders Somerset and are now considered serious title contenders.
The other matches involve the three bottom teams in the standings. Hotels, if they are to survive the drop, must beat last-placed Hamilton Parish at Wellington Oval while second-from-bottom St. David's travel to Bernard Park to take on mid-table North Village.
Hotels are presently tied on 10 points with St. George's, two points ahead of St. David's. A loss for Parish would virtually condemn them to the Second Division next season so they have plenty to play for.
The top Second Division match involves promotion favourites Southampton and Vasco at Southampton Oval. Third-placed Wolves meet Port Royal at Southampton Oval while Social Club are at home to BAA, Devonshire Cougars host Prospect and Somerset Eagles take on Paget in the 3.00 match at White Hill field.
