Dakin made a 17 break in defeating Conrad Soares 50-19.

The other Second Division team qualifying for the play-offs were St.George's I who got by OCC V 4-2.

The First Division play-off teams will be OCC I and OCC II, the latter squeezing by Watford Sports Club after a 3-3 tie with Queens Club.

The play-offs begin on March 18 with OCC I against St.George's I and OCC II facing Queens I.

Watford's Tony DeSilva captured the First Division aggregate crown with a record of 12 wins and two losses.

TAG RUGBY RUG Elliott Primary were crowned champions of tag rugby after beating Francis Patton in the competition finals at National Sports Club thsi week.

In a tournament where each try is worth one point, Elliott fought back from 2-1 down with just a minute and a half to play to clinch the Main Shield 3-2.

The Plate Final was contested by Port Royal I and Port Royal II, with the former running out winners.

A total of 14 teams took part in the afternoon's games. Tag rugby, a non-contact form of the sport, is played in the Island's primary schools as an introduction to the game.
