The bank closed down 50 cents at $18 on volume of 226.

Belco advanced 12.5 cents to close at $19.50 on volume of 2,300.

The index, which has been amid a trend of decline for the past month since topping the 1,000 mark, closed at 960.93.

Total share volume was 2,526 worth $48,918.

Bermuda Press Holdings declared a dividend of 12 cents per share payable July 15 to shareholders of record July 10.
