Tourist caught with cannabis

Debra Hourdajam, 35, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to possessing 2.84 grams of cannabis along with a pipe, alligator clip, and cigarette papers.
The items were found on Hourdajam when she arrived at the Civil Air Terminal shortly after 1 p.m. on August 26, Insp. Peter Duffy, prosecuting, said.
The pipe, which contained cannabis residue, was found in a throat lozenge box in Hourdajam's travel bag.
The other items were also found in her travel bag.
Magistrate the Wor. John Judge fined Hourdajam $300 for the cannabis and $150 for the drug equipment.
