Adcock, who suffered a sprained ankle two weeks ago while playing baseball with his son, finished yesterday's 26.2 mile race in three hours, 22 minutes and 24 seconds.

"I strapped up the ankle and it didn't feel too bad,'' said the running veteran. "The course was fairly flat and the weather almost ideal.''
