Decliners included Bank of Bermuda, down 50 cents to $17 on volume of 12,498; Bank of Butterfield, down $0.125 to $9.375 on volume of 18,449; Bermuda Home, down 25 cents to $7.75 on volume of 300; and Corporation of Hamilton 8% US Dollar bonds, down $1 to $100 on volume of 50 bonds.

The advancers were Bermuda Commercial Bank, up $0.125 to $5.125 on volume of 400, and Argus Insurance, up $0.375 to its high for the year of $11.75 on volume of 240.

In all, a total of 36,299 shares and 50 bonds, valued at BD$523,989.13 and US$5,000 respectively, changed hands.
