Because of an expected high Autumn intake at Dellwood School, the Government has spent $100,000 to bring in from abroad two portable classrooms for the new session.

The decision was made after the Autumn intake at the new middle school was predicted to hit 382, compared to 321 for 1997.

They are expected to be in place for at least a year, until permanent structures can be built.

Each unit will accommodate 25 students and will be used for arts and science classes.
