Patton's 26th place in Saturday's final race in the series of six at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club earned him 28th place overall out of the fleet of 68.

Sailing in Bucephalus , with his crew of Mike Hein and Chris Hosking, Patton finished with a record of 25-49-4-27-33-26 and after discarding his worst placing, ended the regatta with 115 points.

Australian Cameron Miles won the event with 11 points.
