Brawl at Frog Lane
a probe by the Bermuda Football Association after brawling with linesman Richard Knight at the end of yesterday's FA Cup quarter-final match at Frog Lane field, which Devonshire Colts won 1-0.
The incident that sparked things off came three minutes into injury time when Kenny, a substitute in the 68th minute, was shown the red card for swearing at Knight.
Things boiled over after the final whistle. Basden confronted the linesman and the player's father, Leroy, quickly moved in to calm down the youngster.
Anthony Basden soon became involved then fans and team members quickly stepped in to calm things down.
Moments later, Knight was hit in the head by a ball that was thrown as he walked away, and he then reacted angrily. Knight, a former cricket coach for the club, was also involved in an incident with team member David Jones.
