Senior Magistrate, the Wor. Will Francis agreed that there were exceptional circumstances in the case of Daniel Anthony Jerome Cann, of South Shore Road.

Bail was made in the sum of $30,000 with Cann's father-in-law, Ivan Fubler and his mother-in-law Joy Fubler acting as sureties.

He was also told to hand over his travel documents and report to Hamilton Police Station weekly.

Cann has been charged with the murder of Cannice Joann White, also causing grievous bodily harm by burning and the unlawful mistreatment of child in his care.

Defence counsel Mr. Delroy Duncan argued the case for Cann's bail.
