The main trading was in Bank of Butterfield stock, which took up 76 percent of trading -- or $2.2 million worth of stocks.
Its share price closed at the end of the week unchanged at $19. The bank's 52 week high is $20.50.
Bank of Bermuda gained 25 cents to close at $40.25 -- just 25 cents off its 52 week high. And Bermuda Commercial Bank gained 50 cents to close at $6.50.
The price of Argus Insurance rose also, climbing 40 cents to finish at $16.50.
Belco Holdings rose $1 to $21 and KeyTech climbed 65 cents to $35.25.
Corporation of Hamilton 8 percent US dollar Municipal Issues lost $5.00 and closed at $100.
The index closed at 1,961.91, up 0.93 percent on last week. The BSX traded 129,259 shares worth $2,938,396.60.
