Samuel Gonzales Martins, 16, who visited the Island as a child, has told Police he remembers two places in Warwick -- the Seventh Day Adventist Church and a house on Longtail Drive. He also recalls an Esso station.
But Police checking out the leads have made no progress. And they cannot find immigration records for the boy's parents, Lourenco Gonzales Dos Santos and Marilyn Soares Martins.
Samuel ran away from his home in Brazil in January, 1991, apparently telling his parents he was making his way to Bermuda. He never made it and decided to return home -- only to find his mother and father had moved out.
He is now in a Brazilian children's home, believing his parents may have gone to look for him.
